today when i got home i ate some cheescake, went to the library, and walked down the stairs into a flooded basement. called my pops. called the plumbers. plumbers came, its not the sewege pump they said and took my check and left. pops came with a wetvac. Jill called the reinforcements. we tore out the carpet. dried the floor as much we could. called a clean up company for a bid. they said they have the big fans. i said i have the big fans at work. went and got the big fans. Jill probaly cant get to sleep because of the big fans and she has to work at six.
the worse part is not knowing were the water is coming from. dont know who i can get to help me figure that one out.

That sucks, I think you need to check with the previous owners and see if it has happened before. Ours floods sometimes when there is lots of rain, but they should have told you if it is a common thing.
